Knocking gently on your hearts and screens. The sound of every keystroke while writing this is accompanied by a heartbeat rhythm of excitement and joy. How are you all doing? And how is the summer break going? It has been an eventful one for us here at Jumoke Lagos. We reworked our vision board to capture our mission to become a global brand in every sense. A brand that will make Africa proud someday.
A snapshot from our first blog post in January “It is a long road ahead, we cannot see what lies ahead. But our gut instinct tells us it is BEAUTIFUL and FULFILLING. We look forward to encountering the perfectly wrapped parcels at every bend and turn that we take”. Just as we shared, we took a bend and found a perfectly wrapped parcel.
Drumroll…..🥁🥁🥁, we took our first step towards having a global presence. We signed a partnership with a New York jewellery boutique to stock our collections. We planned for global partnerships at the beginning of the year and it brings us so much joy to see it happen. We are truly on the path to becoming what we dreamed of.
So it is with great excitement and many dance steps that we announce to you our Jumoke Lagos tribe that we now stock with the reputable MARTIN BUSCH JEWELERS in downtown Manhattan in the heart of the financial district.
A bit more about our new partners, Martin Busch Jewelers is a family-owned boutique that was established in 1954. It is a fourth-generation business and has resided in the same location in the financial district since 1972.
This is a move in the right direction for us as a brand and avid storytellers. Committed to sharing light, love, and hope through jewellery designs across continents. Doing so by cutting through the obvious barriers of language and culture. Sharing our stories in a language spoken in every continent; LOVE. We are sharing our stories from Lagos to New York and we are pretty pumped about it.

This is the first of many partnerships, we are doing this afraid, and regardless of the uncertainties that are coupled with stepping out into new territories, we are committed to stepping out. We are grateful for friendships that cheer us on while doing so.
